    一月六日はとてもお面白かったですね。

    It was the day of my first food hunt – all thanks to WSC’s Public Relations for organising it.

    The race started at City Hall and we went to various locations.

    City Hall -> Orchard->Dhoby Ghaut->Little India->Kallang->Bedok->East Coast [end point]
    Though my team were rather slow[we were 12/13] sweat … I did enjoy the hunt. Afterall I did try some dishes that I have yet-to-try-but-often-mentioned-by-others.
    Anyway we went to Parkway after the hunt and window-shopped for shoes a little. Then Ql and I took a bus back home. The bus, however, only travels to AMK hence I had to do a bus transfer.
    I was rushing to meet my mum and my aunt, uncle and cousins for dinner in honour of my aunt’s birthday. My aunt’s is on 6th, mine on 7th, while my aunt’s son is on the 9th! My uncle from dad’s side is 8th.. so 4 birthdays in a row ^^.
    I was extremely shocked by the location of our dinner; I returned to the starting point of the day – City Hall/Boat Quay near the bridge. Seriously I couldn’t be more surprised!
    We ate at this seafood restaurant Jumbo by The Riverwalk.
    The food was ok – I do prefer their chilli crab to their black pepper crab though; their honey dew sago was good too!
    Menu of the night : chilli crab, black pepper crab, deep fried beancurd special, scallop wrapped in yam ring, salted egg golden prawns, donut with seafood paste, honey dew sago, yam dessert and a vege that i’m not sure of.
    Oh yeah my other interesting experience was to be in the car’s boot on the way back home. My cousin’s car was only able to fit at most 6 people. Her brother and friend had to take a cab home instead. I sat or should i say lay at the boot throughout the journey. My first time being in such an interesting part of the car and it was fun though a little warm initially.
    So you see, the last day of being 20, was so much different from those in all my years.This ‘kidnapped’ experience and the hunt seems to mark a new beginning for me?
